Abstract

China’s economic growth and Russia’s return to the international stage have transformed relations among global actors, fostering an increasingly multipolar world. We will review the main strategies these countries are employing to achieve their objectives. Our analysis begins at the global level, considering not only their successes but also the resistance they provoke—most notably from the United States, a stance that has intensified even further with the return of the Trump administration. We will then examine how these dynamics shape Latin American politics and the impact they have on the region’s development.
